Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini
Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini returns: Yup you heard it correct there is latest rumor stating a new device from Samsung with a image leak as you can see on the left.
I know guys, it is hard to believe that this is a Samsung device by seeing the camera positions same as Apple’s Iphone X but yes its true it is a next Samsung smartphone “The Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini”.
The Chinese page MMDDJ, who more often leaks and shares most reliable information about Samsung smartphones confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini is coming. The device at present is being tested in china with a model number SM-G8750 and this model number has also being surfaced in the database of a testing and benchmark website. Now finally the entry in the geek bench database gives us more information about the specifications of the device.
Considering that the chipset on the device has a clock of 2.8GHz, it could be running on the same Exynos 9 Series 9810 chipset as the Samsung Galaxy S9. The benchmark result shows us that device is running on Android 8.0 Oreo and is equipped with a Snapdragon 660 chipset with a 4GB RAM.

Similar to the S9, it has a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED screen. However, it deviates from the S9 with its fingerprint sensor and rear camera. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus have the dual camera placed on the center of the back panel with the fingerprint sensor right below while the mini has the dual camera sensors shifted to the left and the fingerprint scanner placed higher in the same center alignment. The front camera also switches from the left of the notch, to the right.
and as according to the TENAA listing also the Galaxy S9 Mini has the same 5.8 inch display as the Galaxy S9. However, the Galaxy S9 Mini might skip on the Iris Scanner, which will reduce the cost of manufacturing. Additionally, the Galaxy S9 mini might also miss out the wireless charging capability. The smartphone has an iPhone X style dual camera setup with a fingerprint scanner placed in the top middle portion of the smartphone.
Though there aren’t any details about the phone’s storage capacities, the Samsung Galaxy Mini will have a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging.
Now that the phone’s been certified, it’s not too much of stretch to assume that it will be launched soon. The question remains, that with the Samsung S9 and S9 Plus getting mixed reviews about their ‘dual aperture’ camera, will the Samsung S9 Mini really be worth it?
As of now only this much information was available so please stay tuned and we’ll inform you with the more updates in the future.
